New York 367

The first (and only) northbound NY 367 reassurance shield.
Not counting the end signage at the northern terminus,
there are only three reassurance shields posted
along the route.

The Welcome to New York signage is located about a quarter mile north of the actual state line. What's unusual about this is that then-Governor George Pataki's name is displayed on the sign, something that he requested be removed from all welcome signage. Only a small handful of signs were like this. His name was removed when Eliot Spitzer became governor in 2007. The governor line is now blank as evidenced by this photo I took on February 2, 2007.
