NY 95's original southern terminus was at St. Regis Falls (Then-NY 72, Now-NY 458) and followed present day Franklin CR 5 to the current southern terminus in Moira. The southern terminus was moved in 1937.
Recommendation:

Renumbering NY 95 to eliminate the duplication with Interstate 95. We suggest the new number be NY 195.
